The community-based grant application process for the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development’s (DHCD) Virginia Homeless and Special Needs Housing (HSNH) funding is now open.
Interested applicants will need to coordinate requests through the Blue Ridge Continuum of Care’s (CoC) local application process.
New applicants will need to complete the CoC’s FY 2022 – 2024 HSNH New Applicant Threshold Review form.
Current applicants will need to complete the CoC’s FY 2022 – 2024 HSNH Project Applicant Executive Summary form.
Interested applicants should thoroughly review DHCD’s 2022-2024 HSNH Program Guidelines to ensure the proposed project can meet all requirements and expectations.
Those interested in applying for funding under the DHCD HSNH Program should contact Matthew Crookshank at matthew.crookshank@roanokeva.gov or Alison Jorgensen at alisonj@councilofcommunityservices.org for information on local funding priorities and applicant eligibility, or with questions about the HSNH program requirements.
Projects will be ranked by the CoC Ranking Committee using the rating and review procedure included below. The Executive Summary form, attached above, must be completed by project applicants and submitted to Hope Browning at hope.browning@roanokeva.gov by March 23, 2022.
